Meet Jayne

I have always had a huge passion for holistic therapies and a great interest in health – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

I embrace alternative ways of looking at health and well-being and I believe many holistic treatments can be extremely powerful in encouraging our body to heal.

The two therapies I love the most are Reflexology and Reiki. I took the decision to train in both and until recently I have enjoyed using these treatments on family and friends as I continued to work my day job in education and raise my two young children.

I am now following my heart and my dream of offering these relaxing therapies to more people so I can share the positive impacts they can have in promoting balance, peace and well-being.

I am looking forward to meeting you and helping you to relax and unwind.

Which therapy is best for me?

Reiki and Reflexology are similar as they are both energy based therapies that can improve health and well-being, improve stress levels and create a feeling of calm and relaxation.

Reiki is a therapy which you have fully clothed and hands are placed gently in different positions on the body. It creates deep relaxation and many people fall asleep.

Reflexology is  focused purely on the feet and although gentle and relaxing there are some points that will be manipulated that may be slightly tender depending on what’s happening in your body.

How long does a therapy session last?

A session lasts for 1 hour, this includes any pre and post care. If it’s your first session it may be slightly longer as a consultation form needs to be completed.

Where will the treatment take place?

I have created a therapy room on the ground floor of my home. The environment is warm, calm and inviting.

How many sessions will I need?

If there is a specific condition requiring improvement then initially I recommend a treatment once a week for four weeks. However this is only a guideline, you may just want to come now and again to help with relaxation.

How much does a session cost?

£35.00

What precautions do you take to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other infectious illnesses?

The room will be well ventilated and aired between clients. All surfaces and contact points will be disinfected between clients.
